My family left Ukraine 5 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Berlin. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in August. I was a nurse in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $3,150 goes: • Rent deposit and first month: $1,050 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,300 • Winter clothing and school supplies: $360 • Language classes and bus passes: $320 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $120 Thank you so much. - Paul
