Yard rescue for Wichai, 71: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Wichai, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Pattaya for 32 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this, Wichai. Your post was clear and honest. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Machakos.
hope the doctors have good news. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
