Detroit

Todd served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place. The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $4,700. Todd is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $4,700 goes: • Training provider fees: $2,400 • Transport to appointments: $400 • Housing deposit and first month: $1,900 I hope life is good to you. - Ariana
