The Cedar health centre yard needs a community fridge - Ngọc's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $800 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 268 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $320
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Tools hire and delivery: $210
