Save Mango: Nova can't afford the emergency vet
Mango, Nova's dog, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $1,250.

Mango is my dog of nine years. On 19 March we rushed to the Ottawa Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,250.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango got me through my hardest year. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Ottawa Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $940
• Medication and follow-up visits: $120
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $190
