Tenant-rights advice for Tài in Hồ Chí Minh City: a short consultation
Looking for housing-law advice in Hồ Chí Minh City: an order to leave for 'renovations'.
🇻🇳 Vietnam285 views
My landlord in Hồ Chí Minh City has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Hồ Chí Minh City could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Hồ Chí Minh City would also be appreciated.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hang in there, Tài. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Stockholm.
