Birmingham
I earned a place in Form 4 at Birmingham Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $850, which is more than we have. I love mathematics and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $850 goes: • Laptop: $400 • School uniform and shoes: $120 • Textbooks and workbooks: $280 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50 I hope life is good to you. - Leonardo

Updates from Leonardo

  1. We're at 8% thanks to 5 of you. I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.

  2. Small update. $51 so far, the plan for laptop is now scheduled.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 1% now ($11). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks.
