The Sycamore health centre yard needs a repair café workshop - Emre's neighborhood project
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Sycamore health centre yard that will serve 162 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 162 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $440
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $115
• Tools hire and delivery: $85

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. materials is the biggest at $440. Fair thing to want to know.
