Tenant-rights advice for Hamza in Rawalpindi: a short consultation
Looking for housing-law advice in Punjab: a withheld security deposit.
🇵🇰 Punjab, Pakistan537 views
My landlord in Rawalpindi has given me a withheld security deposit. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Punjab could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Punjab would also be appreciated.

This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Abbottabad.
Praying for you, Hamza. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Guadalajara but we're thinking of you
Hope things get better soon, Hamza. Hope this works out for you.
Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
Wishing you peace. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Shinjuku donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Rawalpindi.
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Please keep us posted. God bless
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Johannesburg this morning. Greetings from Johannesburg
