Union Park needs a playground - Jannat's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Rajshahi are raising $450 for a playground at Union Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 457 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
