Looking for housing-law advice in Metro Manila: a refusal to repair mold.

Quezon City
My landlord in Quezon City has given me a refusal to repair mold. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other. I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Metro Manila could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect. I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Metro Manila would also be appreciated. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Olinda.

Hang in there, Angelo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

      • Hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. Don't give up. Love from Newport

        • Hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
