I'm caring for me, who's 85. After worsening Parkinson's disease Temitope can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Temitope desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Temitope worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $800 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $620
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $105
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Wishing Temitope a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Thinking of you and your family. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. It's not much but it's yours.
so sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Good luck, Temitope. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Epe.
