Yard rescue for Ernestina, 74: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Ernestina's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Accra for 35 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Wishing you peace, Ernestina. This could happen to any of us.
Looking forward to the next update. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Accra.
Good luck. Wishing Ernestina a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Sending good thoughts, Ernestina. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
