Thomas was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in August. The surgeon at Strasbourg Regional Medical Center recommended emergency hernia repair, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,900, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $3,900 short.
my father has been in and out of Strasbourg Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Thomas struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
