Jasper was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in June. The surgeon at Amsterdam Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,750, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $5,500 short.
my son has been in and out of Amsterdam Community Hospital since June. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jasper struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
