Independence for Tashana: adapted tricycle

An adapted tricycle would give Tashana independence - we are $150 away.

Tashana lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Kingston Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Tashana could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $150 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $50 • Fitting and training sessions: $90 • Delivery and set-up: $10 If you're reading this, thank you.
