Surgery fund for Gabriela: a partial thyroidectomy in Palmira

In April I was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect. My surgeon at Palmira Community Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for July. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,900, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $1,500 short. Doctors at Palmira Community Hospital told me an aortic valve defect will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy.
