Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Artur's family in Gdańsk
The loss of a second income left Artur short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.
🇵🇱 Gdańsk, Pomerania, Poland976 views
Following a long illness in the family, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,700.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,200
• Late fees and court costs: $60
• Utilities in arrears: $105
• First month of rent as a buffer: $335
With deep gratitude,
Artur

Hope it all works out, Artur. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
