Nora needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $2,350.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Victoria Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,350.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• braille note-taker: $1,650
• Fitting and training sessions: $270
• Delivery and set-up: $170
• First-year servicing plan: $260
