Start-up fund for Sangeetha: reopening a barbershop after the demolition of the market
A barbershop in Jaipur needs help replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors after the demolition of the market.

For twelve years I have run a barbershop in Jaipur. In September, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $330
• Initial stock: supplies: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Working capital for the first month: $90
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

hope things get better soon, Sangeetha. Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in London this morning.
Sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Shubra.
