Start-up fund for Putri: reopening a small grocery stall after a fire in the building
Putri lost a cold-storage unit to a fire in the building and needs $450 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For four years I have run a small grocery stall in Surabaya. In July, a fire in the building took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $180
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $90
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Working capital for the first month: $100
I hope life is good to you.

Good luck, Putri. Small businesses are the heart of Surabaya. Hope you're open again soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Praying for you, Putri. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 26 people at work. All the best.
best of luck. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
hang in there, Putri. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Birmingham donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Surabaya
