Leonardo has run a phone repair counter for four years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $1,000 will put it back on its feet.

Envigado
For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Envigado. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $1,000 goes: • Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $540 • Initial stock: replacement parts: $220 • Shop repairs and licensing: $115 • Working capital for the first month: $125 If you're reading this, thank you.

Rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Tema!
