Start-up fund for Hà: reopening a phone repair counter after floodwater
Hà has run a phone repair counter for twelve years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $500 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a phone repair counter in Hồ Chí Minh City. In July, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $340
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $25
• Working capital for the first month: $65
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Hà
Small update. $505 so far, we've started the first stage.
Update from Hồ Chí Minh City: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 25% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
74% there. I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month. Thank you.

Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. After 9 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Hà?
Hope you make a strong comeback. My neighbor in Móstoles donated after I showed her your page.
