Start-up fund for Chidinma: reopening a roadside café after a break-in
Chidinma lost an espresso machine and grinder to a break-in and needs $200 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For six years I have run a roadside café in Epe. In June, a break-in took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $200 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $105
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $35
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. My husband and I read this together. Love from San Nicolás de los Garza.
Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to San Jose so I could bring a meal
