Standing with Wellington: kidney cancer treatment costs

Wellington was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February. The oncology team at Recife Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Wellington is 54, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Recife Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $360
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,100
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $270
• Transport to Recife Cancer Centre: $320
