The old Harmony bus depot needs a skate park - Alexandre's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,300 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,300. It will serve about 512 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $2,300 goes: • Materials: $1,650 • Safety equipment and signage: $210 • Tools hire and delivery: $440 Every share and every dollar helps.
