Romeo is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Romeo was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in December. The oncology team at the San Fernando Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Romeo is 51, worked as a construction supervisor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the San Fernando Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,200 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,600 • Scans and lab work: $290 • Transport to the San Fernando Oncology Institute: $175 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $135 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Divina
