Precious was diagnosed with colon cancer in July. The oncology team at East London Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Precious is 49, worked as a bakery worker until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to East London Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.       Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team comes first ($230) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
