Standing with Manuela: multiple myeloma treatment costs
Manuela is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Manuela was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in June. The oncology team at São Paulo Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Manuela is 48, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to São Paulo Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
