Ziggy is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 14 November we rushed to the Salem Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $500. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond January. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Salem Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
