Buddy is my dog of thirteen years. On 10 June we rushed to Likoni Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Likoni Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Buddy's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $300
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $125
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50
