Standing with Jade: prostate cancer treatment costs
Jade is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jade was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. The oncology team at Fresno Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Jade is 47, worked as a shop owner until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Fresno Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250
• Scans and lab work: $940
• Transport to Fresno Regional Medical Center: $720
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $700
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,140
