Standing with Isabella: non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs
Isabella is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇦🇺 Australia1,428 views
Isabella was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at the Parramatta Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Isabella is 25, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Parramatta Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Transport to the Parramatta Oncology Institute: $370
• Scans and lab work: $1,050
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,230
Glad we found this place.
