Standing with Héctor: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Supporting Héctor through stage 2 breast cancer: medication, transport to the Monterrey Oncology Institute, and living costs while He can't work.

In July I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. My oncology team at the Monterrey Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in November. I was told to expect about 12 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 30, I worked as a tailor until July, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Monterrey Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Transport to the Monterrey Oncology Institute: $390
• Household costs while unable to work: $500
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90
• Scans and lab work: $470
Every share and every dollar helps.

Thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Dhaka!
