Standing with Cesar: stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment costs
4 rounds of treatment are planned at Quezon City Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇵🇭 Philippines769 views
Cesar was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in September. The oncology team at Quezon City Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Cesar is 38, worked as a construction supervisor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quezon City Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $260
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000
• Transport to Quezon City Cancer Centre: $140
Thanks for reading all this.

Sending good thoughts, Gerald. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
Stay strong, Gerald. Hope the doctors have good news. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Blessings
thinking of you, Gerald. Shared it with a few friends. Don't give up.
Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Quezon City.
