Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Multan
A community-led a sensory garden for children with autism at the Pioneer health centre yard that will serve 80 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $145, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 80 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $320
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Multan
Thank you. If you're in Multan I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Thanks for sharing this, Rizwan. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best!
How is Rizwan doing now?
Rooting for you, Rizwan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Aurangabad donated after I showed her your page.
stay strong, Rizwan. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
Stay strong. More neighborhoods should do this. My husband and I read this together.
