Sibusiso's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Sibusiso won a place at Soweto International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Soweto International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $300, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $120
• School uniform and shoes: $50
• Textbooks and workbooks: $85
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $45
I hope life is good to you.
Updates from Sibusiso
Quick update: $49 raised so far (16%). the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($24 in total) I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
