Help Fernanda replace the suspension and return to work
Fernanda drives for a living in Chattanooga, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 6 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $800 goes:
• Labor charges: $230
• suspension replacement (parts): $440
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $130
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Praying for you. Hope you get there. Love from Philadelphia.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Fernanda
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. labor charges comes first ($230) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for asking.
Wishing you the best, Fernanda. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Chattanooga
Thanks for sharing this. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out
Hope it all works out, Fernanda. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Toulon donated after I showed her your page.
This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Chattanooga.
Sending love, Fernanda. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Mumbai but we're thinking of you.
