Shelling damage in Lviv: help Riverside village rebuild

Neighbors in Riverside village are rebuilding after the shelling damage; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

Lviv
The shelling damage hit Riverside village on 30 August. My home was one of 58 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall. The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming. Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before. We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy. We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates. Where the $1,450 goes: • Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $280 • Roofing sheets and timber: $990 • Food parcels for displaced families: $180 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Kirill

  1. Update from Lviv: I made the first payment toward bedding, blankets and mattresses. We're at 18% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Quick update: $166 raised so far (11%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($106 in total) I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
