Tenant-rights advice for Gopal in Pune: a short consultation
Looking for housing-law advice in Maharashtra: a withheld security deposit.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,445 views
My landlord in Pune has given me a withheld security deposit. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Maharashtra could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Maharashtra would also be appreciated.
Glad we found this place.
