Sergio was diagnosed with stomach cancer in November. The oncology team at Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Sergio is 41, worked as a bakery worker until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
