Seema's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Thiruvananthapuram

Seema is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Thiruvananthapuram Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Seema can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Seema has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Seema would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
