School supplies and a laptop for Oluwaseun in Ikeja
Oluwaseun won a place at Ikeja Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇳🇬 Nigeria822 views
I earned a place in Year 10 at Ikeja Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
• Laptop: $65
Thank you for reading my story.

Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 30 people at work. Thinking of Ikeja
Keep going, Oluwaseun. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
Stay strong. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
