School supplies and a laptop for Marisol in Greensboro
Marisol won a place at Greensboro Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Greensboro Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $900, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $380
• School uniform and shoes: $240
• Textbooks and workbooks: $185
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $95
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
