Back to business - Rubina's comeback in Multan
A bicycle repair shop in Multan needs help replacing a full set of tools after a break-in.
🇵🇰 Pakistan892 views
For twelve years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Multan. In August, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $160
• Initial stock: spare parts: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Working capital for the first month: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rubina!
Sure. The biggest one is replacing a full set of tools, $160. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
