Saying goodbye to Indira - help with funeral expenses
Indira passed away on 30 August; we're raising $650 for a respectful funeral in Mumbai.

Indira, my sister, passed away on 30 August after a stroke. She was 79 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Indira to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $480
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $115
• Transport of the deceased: $35
• Memorial gathering for the family: $20

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. funeral home services and casket is the biggest at $480. Good question.
