School supplies and a laptop for Joy in Jodhpur
Joy earned a place in Grade 9 at Jodhpur International School; we're $150 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Jodhpur International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Joy
Good news. Because of your gifts ($95 in total) the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
50% there. I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Thank you.
