Sunny is my dog of eleven years. On 4 June we rushed to the Utrecht Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,000. They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $200 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Utrecht Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,000 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $250 • Emergency surgery: $1,350 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $400 Ask me anything below before you decide.
