Simba is my tabby kitten of six years. On 3 July we rushed to Ottawa Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $3,050. They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Simba is more than a pet - Simba is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Ottawa Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Simba's recovery.
