Let's build a covered market stall space together in Hubballi

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 318 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $150 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $45 • Tools hire and delivery: $40 • Permits and inspections: $65 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
